Terms of Service

By creating an account or otherwise using SuperMail, you agree to these terms. If you're accepting on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

1. What SuperMail does

SuperMail is a multi-provider email client. It connects to mailboxes you already control (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, IMAP/SMTP) and, optionally, hosts custom-domain mail on your behalf via our outbound email delivery subprocessor. You remain the owner of all messages you send and receive.

2. Your account

  • You must provide accurate sign-up info and keep your credentials secure.
  • You're responsible for activity under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old. Under some jurisdictions the minimum age may be higher.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use SuperMail to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam), phishing, or malware.
  • Violate applicable anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, etc.).
  • Impersonate another person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with any party.
  • Harass, threaten, or harm other users or recipients.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service beyond what's needed for personal use.
  • Circumvent rate limits or attempt to access data you don't own.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. If the violation is egregious (spam, fraud, abuse), we may do so without notice.

4. Billing

  • Subscription fees are charged in advance (monthly or annual). Payments are processed by a third-party payments subprocessor.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
  • Annual plans are refundable prorated within 30 days of the most recent renewal; monthly plans are non-refundable but will run through the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Prices can change; we'll give you at least 30 days' notice before a price change affects your next renewal.

5. Your content

You retain all rights in the messages and content you send or receive through SuperMail. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display your content solely to operate the service (for example, to sync a message between your phone and laptop, or to search your inbox). This license ends when you delete the content or close your account.

6. Our content

The SuperMail name, logos, and software are owned by us. You don't get a license to resell, rebrand, or redistribute the service.

7. Custom domain sending

If you send from a custom domain, you represent that you own or have authority to send from that domain. You're responsible for DNS configuration (MX, DKIM, SPF, DMARC); we provide guidance but can't guarantee delivery.

8. Service availability

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee a specific SLA during public beta. Planned maintenance will be announced on the status page. We're not liable for lost mail due to a third-party provider outage outside our control (e.g., your Gmail account being locked).

9. Beta software

SuperMail is currently in public beta. Features may change, be removed, or have bugs. We recommend keeping your original mailbox provider connected so you always have a backup copy of your mail.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Termination

You can close your account any time from settings. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we're required to by law. On termination we delete your message bodies within 30 days and metadata within 90 days (see our Privacy Policy).

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which SuperMail is incorporated, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

13. Changes

We'll update this page and email you about material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
