Change your plan

Upgrading

Settings → Billing → Change plan → [new plan].

  • Effective: immediately.
  • Cost: a prorated charge for the rest of the current cycle. Your next renewal is on the new plan’s full price.
  • Features unlocked: domain count, account count, and storage quota increase right away.

Example: you’re on Starter ($5/mo), 10 days into the cycle, upgrade to Plus ($9/mo). We charge $9 × (20 days left / 30 days) − $5 × (20 days left / 30 days) ≈ $2.67 today. Next renewal is the full $9.

Downgrading

Settings → Billing → Change plan → [lower plan].

  • Effective: at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Cost: no refund for the difference on the current cycle.
  • Pre-check: if you’re over the new plan’s limits (e.g. 3 domains but you downgraded to Starter which allows 1), we’ll show which domains or accounts will be deactivated. You can choose which to keep.

Deactivated domains / accounts are not deleted - they go into a read-only state and re-activate if you upgrade again within 90 days.

Switching billing cycle (monthly ↔ annual)

Switching to annual takes effect immediately:

  • We credit the unused portion of your current monthly cycle.
  • Charge you the annual amount (20% off 12 monthly = 9.6 monthly).
  • New renewal date: exactly one year from today.

Switching from annual to monthly takes effect at the end of the annual period. We don’t issue refunds for the unused months in the annual term.

Grandfathered pricing during beta

If you signed up during public beta at the current tier prices, you keep those prices for at least 12 months after GA even if we raise prices for new signups. Your plan card shows “Beta price locked until [date]” in the billing settings.

Payment method changes

Settings → Billing → Payment method → Update. Takes effect on the next charge. If a charge fails we’ll retry twice over the next week and email you; the subscription goes into a grace period during that time.
